THEME:
"The Future of Alternative Housing"

DEFINITION OF THEME:

"Alternative":
Outside the traditional models of housing management (eg Housing Associations, Council Housing, Private Landlord), with ideals reaching beyond that of solely providing housing.

"The Future":
Vision for your organisation and the wider housing movement. What changes would you like to see in housing law, finance, etc? Where do you see your organisation/ alternative housing in 5 years? What is needed to implement your vision?

"Housing":
This is concerned with the running and creation of housing. What management models do you use? What financial/ economic models do you follow? Is there a way to balance commercial viability with idealism?

QUESTIONS TO ANSWER:

• What my organisation does, how it works and what it aims to achieve.
• What services/ facilities would improve the impact of your organisation? Have they been met?
• What projects would you like to implement/ see to further the alternative housing cause?
• Ideally what would you like alternative housing to achieve?
• What relationships/ partnerships could see between different groups within the alternative housing scene?
