Aim: Want to promote social, cultural, political alternatives for the people in South East London. Site based in New Cross, and covers New Cross, Brockley, Deptford.

Content: Local music events: with coverage and pictures from the events; Local poetry (e.g. John); Political: "Save Deptford Park" campaign, Storm Poorun's portrait (local Green Party candidate). Event Calendar: Used to be manually update; Now using PHP-based event calendar, where you can put details up yourself. Trying to make it as interactive as possible. Currently having 1500-2000 unique visitors per month; 50-80 different visitors per day; but no critical mass has been reached yet; thats needed to be a community platform and the events calendar full of events. Forum (php): one for promoting events, fairly well visited; Content to entertain; Want to provide more structure, so people can use the website themselves, no work involved. Chatroom: themed chats (e.g. music), need a certain amount of traffic (e.g. commercial chatrooms can offer 10 chatrooms full of people), more traffic to make interactive things work more. Help develop Community platform that is unique to the area.
